UNICEF is offering an exciting remote consultancy position to support global efforts to combat online child exploitation through data-driven monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). The selected Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Consultant will work remotely with UNICEF’s Safe Online Portfolio team from August 2025 to July 2028.

🔍 Responsibilities
-
Guide and assure the quality of evaluations within the Safe Online portfolio.

Support UNICEF’s Safe Online Evaluation Advisory Group.

Facilitate MEL training and capacity-building for field-level grantees.

Monitor portfolio strategy and performance, and extract learnings across initiatives.

Help shape a scalable, evidence-based impact strategy in child online protection.
📚 Requirements

Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in international development, economics, political science, business, education, or related field.

8+ years managing evaluations at programmatic or initiative level.

Expertise in results-based management, learning systems, and M&E methodologies.

Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research tools.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
