The Mission: Building a Sustainable Future for Global Health
Unitaid’s RMEA initiative addresses vulnerabilities exposed by COVID-19 — overdependence on limited manufacturing hubs. The program aims to:

The Role & Key Deliverables
As a Global Health Consultant (RMEA Team), you will:

Strategic Project Execution – Support transition from inception to implementation, ensuring strong project design, timelines, and resource planning.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships – Build and track partnerships with governments, manufacturers, and UN agencies; operationalize at least one agreement; coordinate three major industry forums.

Technical Reporting & Knowledge Management – Produce three comprehensive technical reports; develop internal team tools to strengthen collaboration and workflow.
Qualifications & Experience
Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, life sciences, public administration, project management, or public health.

Preferred: Advanced degree or training in health product development/manufacturing.
Professional Experience

Required:
-
At least 5 years of project/grant management experience (proposal development, implementation, risk assessment).

Experience in multi-stakeholder environments, especially in LMICs.

Proven work across the health product manufacturing value chain (R&D → commercialization → procurement → delivery).

Desirable: Background in supply chain, product access, IP, or regulatory frameworks.
