The Nutritional Quality Scientist will conduct research on the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying important nutritional quality traits in potato and other crops, using genetics and multi-omics approaches. The position will focus on identifying key regulatory genes, understanding their inheritance and biological mechanisms, constructing molecular regulatory networks, and developing molecular markers.
Requirements
- Research background in plant nutrition and related majors, with a deep understanding of the molecular regulation mechanisms of starch or trace elements in potatoes and other crops, experimental experience in relevant phenotypic investigations, and relevant research experience.
- Published SCI papers in relevant fields.
- Nationality from a Belt and Road Initiative co-building country or other developing country.
- Work experience in the above-mentioned countries and engagement in scientific research work.
- Doctoral degree or more than five years of scientific research work experience.
- Relatively high scientific research level or potential.
- Under 45 years of age, calculated as of the date of applying for the job position, and in good health.
- Good English or excellent Chinese language communication skills.
- Able to work full-time in China.
- Able to comply with Chinese laws, regulations and other relevant rules.
