The Quantitative Genetics & Genomics Breeder will support CCCAP's scientific research work in China, including breeding and related research, and contribute to the development and implementation of scientific research projects.
Requirements
- Published SCI papers in relevant fields.
- Nationality from a Belt and Road Initiative co-building country or other developing country.
- Work experience in the above-mentioned countries and engagement in scientific research work or research on science and technology policies.
- Doctoral degree or more than five years of scientific research work experience.
- Relatively high scientific research level or potential.
- Under 45 years of age, calculated as of the date of applying for the job position, and in good health.
- Good English or excellent Chinese language communication skills.
- Able to work full-time in China.
- Able to comply with Chinese laws, regulations and other relevant rules.
- Research background in agronomy, genetics, molecular biology, plant protection, etc. Candidates with potato research experience are preferred and should be willing to communicate.
