Role Overview
The Senior Program Officer will lead the Foundation’s philanthropic data agenda by:

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the Data & Insights portfolio strategy.

Shape grantmaking strategies and manage a grant portfolio.

Cultivate partnerships with data providers and sector leaders.

Serve as a thought leader, representing the Foundation at global conferences.

Translate insights into actionable strategies for philanthropy stakeholders.

Support measurement, learning, and evaluation across the portfolio.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (economics, finance, public policy, business, gender studies, or data science). Advanced degrees preferred.

Experience: At least 7 years of relevant leadership experience, ideally in nonprofit data, philanthropic initiatives, or strategy consulting.

Expertise: Deep knowledge of philanthropic data, grantmaking, and portfolio management.

Skills: Strong collaboration, communication, and ability to navigate complex environments.

Regional Knowledge: Experience with philanthropic landscapes in Africa, India, the Middle East, or China is highly valued.
