The Mission: Securing Global Health
The Pandemic Fund channels resources to build prevention, preparedness, and response (PPR) capacity in low- and middle-income countries. As part of this mission, PAHO ensures effective fund allocation and project execution across the Americas.
Role & Responsibilities
As Project Support Specialist, you will:

Project Management – Support design, planning, and implementation of Pandemic Fund projects.

Financial Administration – Manage budgets, awards, reallocations, and monitor fund execution using PAHO/WHO systems.

Partnerships & Communication – Build stakeholder collaboration, draft reports, briefing notes, and promote project achievements.

Monitoring & Knowledge Management – Oversee reporting tools, annual reviews, and maintain project platforms for transparency and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills

University degree in public health, social sciences, business administration, or related field.

At least 2 years of international project management experience (preferably in health or emergencies).

Knowledge of budget/financial management systems.

Strong communication, coordination, and partnership skills.

English required; Spanish/French/Portuguese desirable.
