Task Description
• Conduct desk research on companies, foundations, development actors, industry associations, impact investors, and philanthropic organizations operating in Tanzania. • Identify organizations whose priorities align with UNHCR Tanzania's strategic objectives, including protection, health, education, WASH, climate resilience, access to energy, durable solutions, and support to refugee-hosting communities. • Develop a database of prospective partners, including key contacts, funding priorities, geographic focus, ongoing initiatives, and potential entry points for engagement. • Research corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and philanthropic programmes of potential partners. • Review similar partnerships established by UN agencies, NGOs, and development organizations in Tanzania and the region. • Prepare concise partner profiles and briefing notes on high-potential prospects. • Recommend priority organizations for engagement and propose tailored approaches for outreach and collaboration. Expected Deliverables 1. Funding Landscape Review: Overview of private sector, philanthropic, and development funding opportunities relevant to UNHCR Tanzania (10 pages max). 2. Prospect Database: Database of potential partners, including contact information, areas of interest, and potential opportunities for collaboration. 1. Stakeholder Mapping: Mapping of key companies, foundations, development actors, industry associations, and philanthropic organizations. 2. Priority Prospect List: Shortlist of 20-30 priority organizations recommended for engagement. 3.
