π Key Responsibilities:
π§βπΌ Human Resources Support

Administer HR actions (recruitment, placement, performance, classification reviews, training).

Provide advice on UN procedures and staff entitlements.

Maintain vacancy announcement files and HR records.
π° Budget & Finance

Assist in budget planning and review.

Monitor expenditures and suggest adjustments.

Support trust funds, grants, and procurement coordination.

United Nations Hiring Administrative Assistant (G-6)
π Programme & Partnership

Coordinate with host governments and partners on projects.

Prepare donor reports and funding proposals.

Support administrative compliance and partner communications.
ποΈ General Administrative Support

Draft correspondence and meeting minutes.

Coordinate across departments and country offices.

Assist with audit queries and reporting.
β Requirements:
-
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional admin training preferred.
-
Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible administrative experience.

Languages: Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills

UN systems familiarity is a plus

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, SAP/Umoja (preferred)
