• Develops new approaches, policies, processes and procedures and makes recommendations for the effective administration and improvement of the Agency’s website design and usability, ensuring optimal user experience and compliance with latest industry standards. • Designs creative, interactive and immersive webpages, using web design platforms (e.g., VeV) and content management systems (CMS). • Supervises the English Language Website Manager and the Arabic Language Webmaster to ensure both languages on the websites reflect corresponding and accurate content, and conducts regular reviews of the website content to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate and valid. • Liaises with the Head of Creative Digital and Multimedia, and focal points in the Agency’s fields of operations, and relevant UNRWA departments, that provide content and information, to produce web content, including stories, videos, and photo essays, and coordinates with external programmes on technical improvement and training. • Analyses website performance statistics and performs various Search Engine Optimisation tasks and, in collaboration with the Head of Creative Digital and Multimedia and Social Media Coordinator, coordinates with the web and social media vendors to improve services in line with the up-to-date technologies. • In collaboration with the Head of Creative Digital and Multimedia, assists the Director of Communications in managing and producing compelling design and content for the Agency’s various social media platforms, and provides web communications guidance to colleagues throughout the Agency • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
