The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is currently recruiting a Programme Management Assistant (G-6) to join the Human Rights Treaties Branch (HRTB) in Geneva. This is your chance to support the essential mechanisms that uphold human rights globally.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Programme Management Assistant at OHCHR, you will:

Assist with the planning and implementation of programme and project initiatives.

Compile and present data and background information related to human rights programmes.

Monitor and track the status of proposals, documents, and reporting deliverables.

Support budget proposal preparation and analysis, reviewing program submissions.

Coordinate programme reporting and ensure services and outputs are properly categorized.
You will work closely with the Chiefs of Section and Branch, playing a vital role in supporting human rights treaty bodies and intergovernmental coordination.
✅ Requirements
To be considered for this G-6 role at OHCHR:
Education & Experience:

At least 7 years of administrative or programme support experience
(Reduced to 5 years with a university degree) -
Prior experience in UN agencies or international organizations is desirable.

Familiarity with human rights mechanisms or treaty bodies is an advantage.
Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to manage competing deadlines and coordinate across multiple teams.
Languages:

Fluency in English required.

Knowledge of French or other UN languages is a plus.
